Refund & Cancellation Policy

At ChikanCraft, we want you to love every purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, we are here to help. Please read this policy carefully.

1. Cancellations

Before Dispatch

• Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not yet been dispatched.
• To cancel, contact us immediately at hello@chikancraft.in or call/WhatsApp us at +91 98765 43210 with your order number.
• Once confirmed, cancellations are processed within 24 hours.

After Dispatch

• Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled. Please follow the Return Process below once you receive the item.

2. Returns

Eligibility

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery, provided the item:

• Is in its original, unworn, unwashed condition.
• Has all original tags and packaging intact.
• Has not been altered, dry cleaned, or damaged by the customer.

Non-Returnable Items

• Dupattas and accessories.
• Items purchased during Sale or Special Promotions (unless defective).
• Custom or made-to-order items.
• Items that show signs of wear, washing, or damage by the customer.

3. Defective or Wrong Items

If you receive a defective item or an item that is different from what you ordered:

• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the item and your order number.
• We will arrange a free pickup and replacement or full refund at our cost.
• Please note: Minor variations in embroidery placement, stitch density, and fabric texture are inherent to handcrafted goods and are NOT considered defects.

4. Return Process

1. Email us at hello@chikancraft.in with your Order Number and reason for return.
2. Our team will review and approve the return request within 1–2 business days.
3. Once approved, pack the item securely in its original packaging.
4. For defective/wrong items: we arrange a free pickup. For other returns: items must be self-shipped to our Lucknow address (shipping cost borne by customer).
5. Once we receive and inspect the item, we process the exchange or refund within 5–7 business days.

5. Refunds

• For COD orders: Refunds are processed via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS). You will need to provide your bank account details.
• For online payments (once enabled): Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
• Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

6. Exchanges

• We offer size exchanges for eligible items (subject to availability).
• Contact us within 7 days of delivery for exchange requests.
• Exchange shipping is borne by the customer for non-defective items, and by us for defective/wrong items.
